Gnat Green

Gnat is the current apprentice training under co-owner Killian Moon. Born and raised in Midtown Atlanta, Gnat brings a background in fine art, illustration, and graphic design to her tattooing. Her style is shaped by influences like mythology, dark fantasy, animation, and graphic novels- blending surreal themes with feminine figures, and creature design.

Art has been part of Gnat’s life since childhood. As a relative of legendary animator Tex Avery, she was inspired early on to explore visual storytelling and develop her own creative path. Before pursuing tattooing, she worked as a freelance illustrator and designer. Her projects ranged from creating tattoo designs for film used alongside well-known actors, to producing merch for small businesses and musicians in her community.

Gnat’s influences span from classic cartoons to Baroque realism, and her tattoo foundation is rooted in black and grey realism. She is currently expanding into neo-traditional and color as she builds her portfolio.

She approaches tattooing with patience, curiosity, and respect. Through hands-on experience with her mentor, Gnat continues to grow her skills while developing a voice that is personal, bold, and always evolving.
